Who and What We Are
The San Luis Obispo County Democratic Party (SLOCDP), also referred to as the SLO County Democratic Central Committee, is the local body of the California State Democratic Party.
As the voice of the Democratic Party in San Luis Obispo County, the mission of the SLOCDP is to support and elect Democratic candidates who reflect Democratic Party values, and to promote Democratic principles. To accomplish these goals, the SLOCDP registers Democratic voters, raises funds, organizes and supports local Democratic Clubs, and performs other duties and services for the overall benefit of the Democratic Party in San Luis Obispo County. SLOCDP acts as an information hub for the county, disseminating the message, philosophy and principles of the Party through voter outreach and networking.
Officially, the SLOCDP endorses candidates, propositions, initiatives and/or measures and communicates those endorsements to the public.
