Council of Elected Democrats
The Council of Elected Democrats, Chaired by former Supervisor Shirley Bianchi, is established to bring together San Luis Obispo County Democrats elected or appointed to local or state public office with Democratic Candidates and Volunteers in order to reach out to voters, provide superior public service for voters, wage superior campaigns, and give voters personal access and communication with their elected and appointed Democratic officeholders. The Council mentors, educates, supports and fosters an environment encouraging more registered Democrats to seek public service through successful election campaign development and effective service in public office.
The Council raised funds and targets increased Democratic voter registration and local election races. The Council of Elected Democrats (CED) is an organization whose members are invited to join by the Executive Board. The Council serves registered Democratic voters and its members, directly.
For information or to solicit an invitation for membership, or to volunteer in one of the CED?s targeted projects contact the CED?s Vice-Chair, Stew Jenkins, at 805-541-5763. CED offices are conveniently located two blocks from San Luis Obispo County Democratic Party Headquarters at 1336 Morro Street, San Luis Obispo, CA. 93401.
